Tucked between the West Shores of Lake Conroe and the towering Pines of Sam Houston National Forest, the 17 acres of land that Big Sky Barn calls home was designed with as much vision as the barns themselves. Upon entering the secluded property, your eyes will be drawn up to the barns sitting prominently on a hill with pines and hardwoods providing the natural backdrop. Between the Barns is an area they call the “Barn Gardens”. With an outdoor bar, fire pits, plenty of seating and games such as Corn Hole and Giant Jenga, the Barn Gardens provide the perfect setting to relax between the ceremony and the reception. One of the hidden treasures of Big Sky Barn is what lays behind it. Looking out from the back of the two barns will actually put you at eye level with the canopy of the trees below. A nearly vertical 30’ drop off into the woods awaits you. Stone and gravel stairs and paths will lead you down into the forest below where a rock bridge and lit up gazebo provide perfect picture and gathering opportunities. As day gives way to night, a brilliant glow emerges as over 32,000 lights within the trees illuminate the forest behind the barns leaving guests purely awestruck.
